Day Rehabilitation

About

Our comprehensive, individualised Day Rehabilitation programs are developed by our highly skilled multidisciplinary team, designed to provide a continuum of service from inpatient to outpatient. Our Day Rehabilitation programs involve both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to increase the function and independence of our clients.

At Hirondelle, we offer two types of outpatient services:

  1. Day Rehabilitation Program
  2. Outpatient Clinic

Day Rehabilitation Program

The Day Program is a set program that involves multiple therapies under the care of our Rehabilitation Physician. Pending a health fund check, your program will be typically be covered by your private health insurer – we have contracts with most health funds including DVA.

To access the Day Rehabilitation program, a referral is required from your treating doctor or GP. Referrals can be made online or faxed through to (02) 9412 1205 with the relevant medical information. If you are currently a patient at Hirondelle, please speak with your treating rehabilitation physician or allied health professional for more information. If you are new to our facility, we will book you in to see our Rehabilitation Physician to determine suitability and achievable goal setting.
